About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Requirement Verification Plans and System Test & Verification Plans for each Integrated Functional Capability
- Lead technical reviews and secure cross-functional approval for verification methods
- Review Verification Data Products from System Test
- Create Requirement Verification Reports and System Test & Verification Reports to close out IFC activities
- Coordinate internal and cross-IPT reviews and manage customer comments and approvals
- Work with Subject Matter Experts and Responsible Engineers to gather analysis and data
- Collaborate with System Test engineers to develop test procedures
- Participate in test procedure and system verification peer reviews
- Analyze and resolve test findings based on intended system behaviors
- Author use cases, technical requirements and feature acceptance criteria for system definitions and Discrepancy Reports
- Analyze early findings and anomalies for impacts on core system requirements
- Coordinate with Responsible Engineers and System Test teams to ensure functions are ready for formal testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts and test engineers to ensure products meet technical specifications and customer requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field and 12 years of relevant military/professional experience, OR Master of Science degree in a STEM field and 10 years of relevant military/professional experience, OR PhD and 8 years of relevant military/professional experience
- Active US Government Top Secret clearance, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time
- Experience supporting Systems Engineering Milestones SRR, PDR and CDR
- Experience across the full Systems Engineering lifecycle, including requirements decomposition, test planning, requirements verification and requirements management
- Experience in requirements and verification management in DOORS
- Experience with requirement decomposition and traceability from System to Unit/Supplier Specifications
- Experience managing suppliers with technical requirements and verification expectations
- Experience leading a technical team
- Travel up to 10% may be required
- Preferred: Current applicable SAP clearance
- Preferred: Experience in ICD development and integration
- Preferred: Experience across multiple Systems Engineering disciplines, including requirements, integration, technical configuration management, cyber
- Preferred: Experience with Agile Design Methodology
- Preferred: Experience with software development
- Preferred: Experience with HW/SW integration testing
- Preferred: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment software development
- U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance
