About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of verification activities.
Define and manage the verification strategy across unit, integration, and system levels.
Apply verification methods including inspection, analysis, demonstration, and test.
Develop test plans and oversee subcontractor development and execution of test procedures in lab and representative operational environments.
Own the verification strategy for the program lifecycle phase.
Develop and direct System Level Verification plans, including approach, methods, environments, success criteria, assessments, and evidence.
Lead definition and refinement of verification requirements.
Ensure bi-directional traceability between system requirements, verification methods, and verification results.
Lead and coordinate subcontractor teams conducting functional tests.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 12 Years with bachelor’s in science; 10 Years with masters; 8 Years with PhD.
Must be a US Citizen.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP).
4 years of experience leading or significantly contributing to verification and/or test activities on complex aerospace, defense, or similar high-reliability systems.
4 years of experience leading a high-paced product development and test/demonstration team.
3 years of experience with test, analysis, inspection, and demonstration verification methods.
3 years of experience writing and executing test plans and analysis plans.
3 years of experience developing and using concepts of operations and operational scenarios as a basis for test planning.
3 years of demonstrated working knowledge of requirements development and management, including traceability and verification closure.
3 years of experience working with CAMEO or similar MBSE management tools.
2 years of experience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testing.
