About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform long-term capacity and resource planning
- Aggregate and prioritize demand requirements
- Analyze purchase material supply/demand positions using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
- Create or reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments
- Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling
- Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
- Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain schedules through strategic planning and execution
- Provide early visibility into purchase requisition release constraints and material excess reviews
- Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team
- Communicate program schedule deviations and coordinate impacts with internal and external customers
- Execute rapid requirements, scrap/spare/replacement planning
- Serve as a Global Supply Chain liaison to Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs
- Work on a dynamic, fast-paced program team supporting Airborne Surveillance Programs at BWI
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR Master’s degree with 0 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR High School Diploma with 6 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment in lieu of degree
- MS Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Previous experience in Supply Chain
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret-level clearance is required to apply and start the role
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time
- Experience with Bills of Materials preferred
- Experience in SAP preferred
- Experience with Advanced Planning and Material Requirements Planning preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance and certain restricted positions
- Travel up to 10% of the time
