About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead program execution for propulsion-related supplier activities, ensuring milestones are met and objectives are achieved
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities to mitigate challenges and optimize supplier performance
  • Track supplier milestone completion and invoicing for forecast accuracy
  • Drive resolution of technical issues with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders
  • Provide frequent, detailed program status updates to internal teams and leadership
  • Manage and oversee proposal efforts, including supplier coordination and cost analysis
  • Coordinate and conduct supplier site visits as needed
  • Lead a team in a dynamic Program environment, including rapid requirements execution, standard parts ordering, scrap/spare/replacement planning, and serving as a GSC liaison to Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Occasional travel may be required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related experience in a technical field or engineering and project management, OR a Master’s degree with 10 years of related experience in a technical field or engineering and project management
  • An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and IMS Logic
  • Material requirements planning and/or advanced planning experience
  • Experience with complex machined parts including welding and special processes
  • Current Special Program Access preferred
  • Technical background or engineering degree preferred
