About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deliver Systems Engineering products
  • Perform requirements development, allocation, and verification/validation planning
  • Manage interface definition efforts
  • Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports
  • Support communication and coordination with program, functional, and subsystem leads
  • Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts using proper configuration management procedures
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts
  • Solicit stakeholder and team-member input, synthesize data, and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Coordinate across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and with external customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience in Systems Engineering
  • Active USG Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program access via Program Access Request prior to commencement of employment or within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company
  • Ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP/PAR access following commencement of employment
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language
  • U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
  • Preferred: Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Preferred: Active USG Top Secret or higher clearance
  • Preferred: Experience in Systems Engineering areas including technical planning, system design development, verification and validation, cost/risk management, requirements management, or technical review support
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and system architecture integration
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo
  • Preferred: Experience with software development
  • Preferred: Experience with HW/SW integration testing
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile execution
