About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze current inventory effectiveness using statistical analysis
  • Account for changing configurations and apply probability-based analytics to optimize recommendations and maximize impacts to key performance indicators
  • Gather required information and work with stakeholders
  • Provide analyses and presentations
  • Develop new and/or integrate existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models, and command and control models
  • Simulate real-time operation and develop software/models representing projected system behavior
  • Develop, integrate, and use advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools
  • Model operational environments and perform trade studies via computer simulation
  • Recommend alternative architectures
  • Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis
  • Develop and integrate mission concept development, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), spares sensitivity, Operations and Support (O&S) cost analyses/ROI, and model-based systems engineering
  • Develop and adapt models, methods, and simulations to support system design, development, and sustainment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of statistical analysis, data analysis, or system modeling experience in a professional environment; OR Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years experience
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, including extensive formula calculations, pivot tables/charts, and macros
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Top Secret Clearance, Special Access Program (SAP), and SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Current active in-scope US Government Top Secret Clearance with special access preferred
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Experience with Tempo, VMetric, or EDCAS in a professional environment preferred
  • Experience with MAAF or LCOM preferred
  • Experience with data mining techniques preferred
  • Relevant experience in adjacent logistics support elements, including LSA & Maintenance Planning, ModSim, SEE, PHM, SLO, Obsolescence Management, Training & Training Systems, Technical Data, Support Hardware, Fleet & Field Support, and Product Support Management preferred
