Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and ship products and features quickly without compromising quality
  • Improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase and team productivity
  • Collaborate across product, design, engineering, and analytics in a data-driven experimentation culture
  • Contribute to project, feature, and integration estimation, planning, and execution
  • Develop, release, and maintain backend services and/or infrastructure
  • Write clean, fully tested, high-performance code
  • Take ownership of major parts of the codebase, set timelines, and lead project deliverables
  • Build scalable technology for interactions with patients, dietitians, and insurance companies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years as a Backend focused Software Engineer
  • Preferably experience building high-performance internal platforms for internal business operations, developer experience, or DevOps
  • 3+ years utilizing Typescript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and AWS, or confidence and excitement about cross-training and up-skilling
  • Ability to independently take a project from idea through implementation
  • Desire to build products end-to-end through design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Ability to think from first principles, challenge assumptions, and value the right answer over being right
