About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support business growth for Nova’s China Application department
- Deliver OCD solutions and provide application engineering support
- Provide on-site application support and metrology solutions to end users in CMP, CVD, lithography and etch process groups
- Establish technical relationships and communication channels with customers
- Understand customer processes and issues
- Maintain knowledge of semiconductor industry changes and trends
- Stay current with new metrology applications and products
- Perform pre-sale demonstrations and customer presentations
- Develop new and current applications with LTD or other subsidiaries
- Provide sales support and sales-related information to the marketing group
- Collaborate with customers, sales, headquarters and FSE teams to explore business opportunities in China
Requirements
What you’ll need- Above master’s degree in physical, Material Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering background
- Knowledge with Semiconductor process
- Must be able to work independently and be a team player
- Good communication skills
- Willing to travel to various regions for training (basic training for up to 2mths) and support activities
- Strong analytical skills, multitasking, good attitude and high EQ
- Interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and under demanding timelines
- Proactive and able to learn and work independently
- Proactive with a hands-on approach
- Positive attitude and able to accept authority
- Ability to effectively handle customer issues using established technical policies and procedures
