About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform duties as a CASA Part 21 Authorised Person (AP) / Certification Verification Engineer (CVE) in structures and mechanical systems
Lead development, review, and, where applicable, approval of aerospace designs
Deliver, certify, and approve aerospace designs under CASA regulatory frameworks
Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering issues
Mentor and develop engineers
Provide technical authority, leadership, and engineering governance within a design office
Support proposal and opportunity development
Manage projects when assigned
Drive high-quality project outcomes for civil aviation and Defence clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

CASA Part 21 AP/CVE or ability to obtain within 24 months
Strong understanding of CASA certification standards
Extensive civil aerospace engineering experience
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an appropriate Defence security clearance
ITAR requirements apply; nationality may be a factor in suitability
Experience in structures and mechanical systems fields
