About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and continuously improve the end-user environment
- Create and configure Windows 11 deployment profiles
- Implement Windows Autopilot
- Package and deploy applications through Intune
- Centrally manage software updates
- Administer multi-OS configurations across Windows 10/11 and iOS
- Administer VMware Horizon View VDI infrastructures
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, VBScript, and the Microsoft Graph API
- Maintain the operational performance of the desktop and mobile device fleet
- Monitor operations, handle incidents, perform routine administration, and manage releases
- Manage MSI application packaging and software distribution
- Participate in cross-functional IT transformation projects and contribute to information system security
- Apply the department’s standards and best practices
- Collaborate with the various IT teams
- Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure maps, and configuration management records
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required: Windows 10/11, iOS (multi-tenant), Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, VMware Horizon View, PowerShell
- Experience administering desktop computers and mobile devices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365
- Skills in MSI application packaging and software distribution
- Skills in automation using PowerShell, VBScript, and the Microsoft Graph API
- Skills in managing Windows 10/11 and iOS configurations
- Skills in administering VMware Horizon View VDI infrastructures
- Availability required during business hours on weekdays
- Detailed daily activity reporting
- Ongoing maintenance of the administration knowledge base, including technical documentation, infrastructure maps, and configuration management records
- Preferred: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Kaspersky, InstallShield, Nexthink, Azure AD, Conditional Access, Active Directory (GPO), RDS, MDT, AIK, print services, and file-sharing services
