About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce parts in accordance with production, quality, flow, health and safety procedures and standards
  • Record production on relevant sheets
  • Package, identify, label, and validate conformity of produced parts
  • Raise quality alarms for process or product anomalies
  • Ensure smooth operation, conformity, and cleanliness of the work area
  • Participate in team meetings, working groups, progress meetings, and improvement activities
  • Communicate faults and potential problems to the process leader or manager
  • Pass required instructions to the next shift operator
  • At Level 2, manage stations, meet standard production rates, assist with peripheral-device changes, solve common job-related problems, work across product families, and perform reworks
  • At Level 3, restart stations when authorized, assist with production changes, analyze nonconformities, perform basic maintenance, reduce rejected parts, train and tutor operators, provide technical support, and support new process integration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Manual dexterity to assemble, operate, adjust and inspect
  • Near vision to handle small parts and detect visual defects
  • Normal color vision and depth perception capability
  • Ability to take direction from others
  • Communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Reading and basic math comprehension to understand training guides, standard operating procedures, quality information, and complete production reports
  • Ability to comply with company rules, 5S, health and safety procedures, and production/quality standards
