About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support technology and advanced concept studies, including technology assessments, state-of-the-art analyses and emerging technology reviews
- Analyse customer needs, market developments and technology trends to identify new capabilities and opportunities for clients
- Research and assess emerging technologies, their potential applications, maturity and relevance to identified market needs
- Explore connections between different markets, technologies and space domains and formulate topics for deeper technical investigation
- Contribute to client presentations, reports, proposals and innovation recommendations, working with senior consultants and technical experts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering, science or technical background, preferably in space, aerospace, systems, telecommunications, electronics, software or a related field
- Profiles from business or political science schools with demonstrated technical experience or strong interest in technology are welcome
- MSc or equivalent degree in engineering, aerospace, space systems, telecommunications, electronics, computer science, physics or another relevant technical discipline
- Candidates with other academic backgrounds and relevant technical experience or exposure to technology are welcome
- Up to 3 years of experience, preferably in strategy consulting, technology consulting, market analysis, innovation, business development or the space sector
- Technical knowledge of at least one area of the space ecosystem, such as SATCOM, EO, PNT, spacecraft systems, ground systems, software, data or space infrastructure
- Genuine interest in emerging space technologies and their applications, with ability to understand technical concepts and discuss their implications
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel internationally
- EU citizen or permanent EU residence/work permit
