About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain data models and Power BI visualizations
Evaluate software capabilities to improve data models and user experience
Create and maintain systems that enable quick and effective strategic decision-making
Improve existing tools and identify development needs
Improve and streamline data pipelines, enhance data availability, and document best practices and processes
Design, implement, and analyze solutions to ambiguous problems, including dashboards, scorecards, ad hoc analysis, and data extracts
Communicate technical concepts and processes to employees at all organizational levels, including senior leadership
Compile business intelligence and trends to support actionable recommendations
Act as a liaison between business intelligence, users, and IT to resolve issues and identify improvement opportunities
Provide training and support to end users
Balance long-term strategic business intelligence goals with day-to-day user requirements
Support data optimization, data governance, business intelligence development, KPI reporting, and dashboard development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in business analysis and reporting
Strong knowledge and proficiency with Power BI, including data modeling, measures, and visualizations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to communicate written and verbal technical concepts and processes to technical and non-technical users and various levels of leadership
Strong customer service orientation
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
Proficiency with Database Connectivity (JDBC, ODBC), SQL, PostgreSQL, and Python
Experience working with data lake and data warehousing technologies
Ability to learn new applications
Willingness to travel 25% or less to Novo facilities
Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including standing, walking, handling, reaching, lifting, talking, and hearing
