About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design scalable, collaborative, and social online learning experiences used by Fortune 500 companies, universities, and training organizations
- Own 1-2 major projects at any time as the design lead, shaping solutions from initial problem exploration through final implementation
- Partner with product management to frame problems, define project scope, explore design approaches, and make recommendations
- Provide production-ready mocks and assets and collaborate with engineers to balance quality and feasibility
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and understand user goals
- Align stakeholders, propose solutions, and adjust scope when challenges arise
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience designing products that have been used by end users and clients at scale
- Proven track record of solving complex real-world problems with strategic thinking and elegant, user-centered solutions
- Proficiency with wireframing, user flows, high-fidelity mocks, prototyping, user interviews, and usability testing
- Expert-level skills with Figma, including advanced features like components and design libraries
- Experience maintaining visual and interaction consistency by working within established design systems and contributing to their evolution
- Strong visual design foundation with attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles
- Experience designing responsive Web/Mobile experiences
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and development constraints
- Experience designing AI-powered features that enhance user workflows and personalize experiences is a plus
- Familiarity with GenAI tools to accelerate workflows is a plus
- Ability to independently own projects from problem definition through execution
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive decisions without constant guidance
- Comfort navigating ambiguity during early exploration phases and synthesizing unclear requirements into actionable design directions
- Ability to build productive relationships with cross-functional partners, including PMs and engineers
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly and lead productive discussions
- Ability to remain flexible when new information or priorities emerge
- Ability to balance data-driven decisions with cognitive empathy
