About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify their needs
Provide promotional products and services and create an easy, memorable experience
Assist customers in selecting eyewear that fits their budget and eye care needs
Troubleshoot prescription-related problems and resolve customer complaints
Meet established sales goals while complying with company and local policies and procedures
Adhere to quality control standards, including OSHA and other safety requirements
Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain brand standards
Measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames onsite and virtually according to prescriptions
Sign off on jobs after confirming power ranges and lens measurements
Examine prescriptions and verify lenses are ground to specifications
Execute simple repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses
Ensure customer orders are accurate and delivered on time
Maintain lab-area brand standards and report equipment malfunctions or order issues
Track delivery-time commitments to ensure 100% compliance
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ year of proven experience delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
Effective communication with a diverse group of people
Valid ABO/NCLE and/or State license in the applicable State
High school diploma or equivalent required
Passion for outstanding customer/patient care
Strong interest in learning, embracing, and fostering innovation
Ability to promote high work standards and empower others with an entrepreneurial mentality
Schedule flexibility; work hours determined based on business needs
Knowledge of MS Word and Google Docs
