About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Schedule Studio product squad
  • Plan the squad's quarter, reconcile priorities, and make trade-offs
  • Prototype with AI tools and direct agents
  • Review and edit generated code and generated schedules
  • Review generated programmes and turn issues into product and model improvements
  • Own the definition of schedule quality across the product
  • Make build/kill decisions based on evidence and measurable value
  • Design and ship planning agents, including their responsibilities, guardrails, tools, context, and planner-in-the-loop points
  • Define and run structured evaluations for schedule quality, cost, and reliability
  • Conduct user and buyer research with planning managers, project controls leads, and programme directors
  • Attend client and sales meetings
  • Lead squad contributors and coordinate dependencies with forecasting, portfolio, and AI-agent squads
  • Share learning through frontend, backend, and AI guilds
  • Work toward AI agents that build programmes, identify logic issues, and propose recovery sequences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five-plus years as a planner or scheduler on major construction or infrastructure projects
  • Experience building, maintaining, and defending contractually and commercially live programmes
  • Deep fluency in Primavera P6
  • Knowledge of logic, calendars, constraints, baselines, WBS, and coding structures
  • Ability to assess schedule credibility and quality
  • Clear point of view on schedule quality and common quality checks
  • Daily experience using LLM tools to draft, analyse, or automate work
  • Ability to prototype and review/edit generated code
  • Strong judgment in ambiguous situations and understanding of trade-offs
  • Data fluency and ability to measure product outcomes
  • Ability to communicate complex trade-offs to engineers, planning managers, and programme directors
  • Evidence-based decision-making and willingness to change direction based on data
  • P6 experience; Asta, MSP, or TILOS are bonuses
  • Product experience, planning tooling, scripting, or automation experience are nice to have
  • Experience with data science, machine learning, or probabilistic risk analysis is nice to have
  • Experience across client and contractor sides or multiple sectors is nice to have
  • Knowledge of NEC, JCT, FIDIC, or similar contract programme requirements is nice to have
  • Some formal technical background is nice to have
  • Must mention the word 'float' in the application
