About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and maintain the stability of a complex, high-volume hybrid Windows/Linux environment across on-premises and cloud infrastructure
- Configure, install, and tune AppDynamics agents across Java, .NET, Node.js, SQL Server, MongoDB, and other technology layers
- Create and optimize alerts and reports in Splunk AppDynamics for proactive monitoring
- Map business journeys and critical transactions to ensure end-to-end visibility
- Investigate the root causes of performance incidents
- Support development teams with technical insights
- Work 40 hours per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in a hybrid model with on-site work twice per week
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong AppDynamics expertise: Hands-on experience configuring controllers, agents, and application instrumentation
- Infrastructure knowledge: Understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems and networking to assess agent and database connectivity (SQL Server, MongoDB)
- Observability culture: Understanding of concepts such as Golden Signals, logs, metrics, and tracing
- Official Splunk or AppDynamics certifications (a plus)
- Experience automating agent installation with Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell (a plus)
- Knowledge of monitoring cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) (a plus)
- Experience with other monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or Elastic Stack (a plus)
