About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the operational core of Ntiva's People functions across Total Rewards, leave and accommodations, performance management, corrective action and terminations, employee-relations investigations, and day-to-day people-services delivery
  • Directly manage and develop the People Operations team
  • Provide subject-matter guidance, escalation support, and hands-on backup across functional areas
  • Collaborate directly with the Director of Talent Acquisition
  • Manage the Manager, People Operations as a strategic and escalation partner on complex benefits matters and leave management
  • Manage the People Services Specialist, providing guidance on employee relations, performance matters, and employee transitions
  • Oversee health and welfare, wellness, retirement, voluntary benefit, and recognition programs
  • Lead annual open enrollment and manage broker/vendor relationships
  • Maintain benefits compliance, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Form 5500, and state mandates
  • Assist with 401k and other internal audits with payroll and finance
  • Administer multi-state leave and accommodation programs, including FMLA, ADA, state/local leave, parental, STD/LTD
  • Run the interactive accommodation process with defensible documentation
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and OSHA recordkeeping/reporting
  • Oversee performance cycles, goal-setting, calibration, and talent reviews
  • Manage succession planning with the Chief People Officer and senior leadership
  • Coach managers on performance conversations and development planning
  • Own workplace investigations and serve as escalation point for complex matters
  • Manage warnings, written warnings, and performance improvement plans
  • Partner with Legal on involuntary terminations, risk assessment, and separation documentation
  • Oversee offboarding, exit interviews, unemployment claims, access deprovisioning, and state-specific final-pay compliance
  • Own HRIS data integrity, lifecycle transactions, policy/handbook administration, and people reporting
  • Support HR due diligence and post-close people integration for acquisitions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7–10+ years in HR/People Operations, including team leadership
  • Required depth across benefits/total rewards, multi-state leave and ADA/FMLA, performance management, and employee relations/investigations
  • Strong multi-state employment-law knowledge
  • HRIS proficiency required
  • Demonstrated AI knowledge and use
  • SHRM-SCP / SPHR strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • U.S. person status welcomed; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
  • Ability and willingness to travel if needed
  • Ability to establish a dedicated, safe, secure workspace free from distractions and hazards
  • Compliance with Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies
  • Adequate arrangements to avoid significant caregiving interruptions during work hours
