About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor the market and translate trends into a prioritized roadmap
- Establish standards, control costs through FinOps, manage risks, and measure initiative outcomes
- Serve as the point of contact (POC) for establishing a transition/acquisition plan within the Automation and AI Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Monitor technologies, vendors, models, platforms, and practices related to generative AI, agents, and automation
- Conduct benchmarks and proofs of concept to assess solution fit for the company’s context
- Prepare analyses and recommendations for leadership and business teams
- Build and maintain the AI Automation CoE roadmap, aligned with corporate strategy
- Prioritize demands based on value, effort, risk, cost, and reusability
- Support the development of business cases, including ROI, NPV, and payback period
- Define architecture and development standards, as well as standards for model usage and agent lifecycles
- Structure the solutions and agents catalog, including classification and evaluation criteria
- Ensure compliance with internal security and data policies and Brazil’s LGPD
- Monitor and optimize costs related to platforms, licenses, model consumption, and cloud infrastructure
- Create showback and chargeback mechanisms, budgets, and consumption alerts
- Support vendor negotiations and proposal evaluations
- Identify and address technical, regulatory, ethical, reputational, and security risks
- Collaborate with Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams
- Maintain the risk matrix and mitigation plans
- Define and track KPIs for adoption, value generated, efficiency, quality, cost, and risk
- Maintain dashboards and periodic reports for executive leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed bachelor’s degree
- Higher education in Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in technology strategy, architecture, IT governance, or portfolio management
- Strong knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, agents, and automation
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and FinOps practices
- Experience with risk management and governance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in developing metrics and business cases
- Clear communication with both technical and executive audiences
- Experience with AI governance and orchestration platforms, such as watsonx.governance, watsonx Orchestrate, and Databricks
- Knowledge of AI regulations and frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act
- Certifications in FinOps, cloud, or risk management
- Experience in the financial sector or regulated environments
- Advanced English proficiency
