About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gain hands-on experience across nuclear design engineering projects
- Help resolve emergent issues
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses
- Support maintenance and procurement activities
- Assist with minor design changes
- Collaborate with design engineers and stakeholders to develop designs
- Review supporting documentation, technical specifications, codes, standards, and test/implementation plans
- Participate in plant walk-downs to assess equipment and gather design inputs
- Prepare and present technical information to internal and external audiences
- Support daily project activities and coordinate with stakeholders to meet quality expectations
- Contribute to innovation and technical advancement projects, including researching new technologies and applications in the nuclear industry
- Incorporate lessons learned into design processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
- Curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be located within Ontario or elsewhere in Canada for the internship
- Occasional travel to the client site in Bruce County
