About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product strategy and roadmap for the AI & Query Platform team
- Advance query and data exploration capabilities
- Develop AI-powered experiences and agent capabilities
- Build reusable core AI platform capabilities across the Nucleus platform
- Discover and prioritize AI, analytics, and data-driven customer use cases
- Define product requirements and tradeoffs across usability, performance, reliability, flexibility, and technical complexity
- Run early-access and customer feedback programs
- Define success measures and feedback loops for AI and query capabilities
- Understand how security teams work with vulnerability and exposure data
- Identify opportunities to improve security workflows through AI and better data interaction
- Partner with engineers on APIs, datasets, schemas, query capabilities, agent tools, and platform primitives
- Translate technical capabilities into intuitive customer product experiences
- Take ambiguous ideas from discovery through definition, validation, delivery, and adoption
- Determine when to build customer experiences versus reusable platform capabilities
- Define and evaluate quality of AI-powered experiences
- Work with customers and internal teams to understand problems, validate solutions, and prioritize investments
- Maintain and adapt the product roadmap as AI technology, customer expectations, and the cybersecurity market evolve
- Communicate product direction and tradeoffs across engineering, design, go-to-market teams, and leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of product management experience
- Meaningful ownership of a technical B2B or enterprise software product
- Experience shipping AI/LLM-powered, data, analytics, search, query, developer-platform, or similarly technical products
- Strong technical fluency, including comfort working with engineers on APIs, schemas, datasets, query behavior, integrations, and system capabilities
- Experience turning technically sophisticated capabilities into intuitive product experiences
- Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize based on customer value
- Experience operating in ambiguous problem spaces with rapidly changing technology and customer expectations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts simply
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers and translate customer problems into product opportunities
- Experience building AI agents, copilots, natural-language interfaces, or LLM-powered enterprise applications
- Experience with SQL, query languages, analytics platforms, search products, or data visualization
- Experience building platform functionality consumed by multiple product teams
- Experience defining evaluation or quality frameworks for nondeterministic AI functionality
- Familiarity with tool or function calling, retrieval, context management, agent orchestration, or MCP
- Cybersecurity, vulnerability management, exposure management, or security analytics experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must satisfy applicable employment eligibility requirements
