About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect and dispose of waste, laundry, and clinical waste in line with hospital procedures
- Set up conference rooms and support office moves
- Maintain hospital grounds and outdoor areas
- Clean and prepare designated areas
- Provide courier services and transport specimens when required
- Carry out parking patrols as directed
- Deliver and collect medical devices across the Central Belt of Scotland
- Support the Housekeeping team with key operational tasks
- Assist with stock management
- Adhere to data protection, health & safety, and security policies at all times
- Provide logistical and operational support across multiple hospital departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Flexible availability Monday to Friday, with the ability to work weekends when required
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
- Enjoy working in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to manage workload effectively
- Take ownership and responsibility for tasks
- Willingness to undergo Disclosure Scotland checks
- Full UK driving licence
- Compliance with Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks if successful
