About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write and maintain UI and API automation tests using Page Objects
- Test REST APIs and validate status codes, error handling, and responses
- Verify application data storage and retrieval through database testing
- Test end-to-end data flows between Deposco, Oracle, Snowflake, and SharePoint files
- Run automated tests through GitHub Actions pipelines
- Read CloudWatch logs and investigate infrastructure-related failures
- Check infrastructure tickets involving Lambda, IAM, and Terraform
- Run load tests on APIs and key pages
- Measure response times and error rates and identify performance bottlenecks using Datadog
Requirements
What you’ll need- Playwright + TypeScript automation; write and maintain UI and API tests using Page Objects
- API testing with Postman or Playwright's request client
- Test REST APIs, including status codes, validations, and error handling
- Distinguish frontend bugs from backend bugs
- Understand and write SQL queries
- Experience with Postgres and Snowflake database testing
- Integration and E2E testing across Deposco, Oracle, Snowflake, and SharePoint files
- GitHub branches, pull requests, and code reviews
- GitHub Actions for running tests in CI/CD pipelines
- AWS basics, including CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, and Terraform
- Performance/load testing with tools such as JMeter
- Measure response times and error rates
- Use monitoring tools such as Datadog to identify performance issues
