About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop process deliverables including process design criteria, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and control philosophies
Support multidisciplinary deliverables and activities, including operation/execution plans, equipment specifications, scopes of work, layout and model development, and equipment sizing
Potentially undertake short-term onsite roles such as commissioning, testwork, or production support, depending on client requirements and project scope
Provide process input to high-level schedules, cost estimates, and engineering proposals
Develop reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Provide technical support to multidisciplinary design teams
Engage with internal and external stakeholders
Deliver projects from concept through execution for clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years’ experience
Recognised bachelor’s degree in engineering (process, chemical or metallurgy)
Demonstrated experience in hydrometallurgical processes
Demonstrated experience developing or updating process engineering documents
Experience supporting projects, including business case development, presenting options to stakeholders, scope of work development, technical review, and execution support
Background in engineering consulting on small to medium projects (nice to have)
Experience across different project phases, including concept development and execution (nice to have)
Experience in copper, uranium, gold, aluminium, and battery materials (nice to have)
Experience with mass balancing software such as SYSCAD, IDEAS, or MetSim (nice to have)
Experience with hydraulic modelling software such as Fluid Flow or Hysys (nice to have)
Ability to submit a CV and cover letter
