About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Health and Nutrition Unit in implementing a program focused on strengthening the nutrition competences of frontline health workers
- Conduct rigorous document analysis, literature reviews, and field research
- Coordinate with government agencies, academic institutions, and other stakeholders
- Collect, process, and manage research data
- Map nursing and midwifery curricula and support curriculum analysis
- Develop assessment tools, including OSCEs
- Support policy drafting for Joint Memorandum Circulars
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Monitor research quality and progress
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Nursing, Midwifery, or a related health/science discipline
- Active registration/licensure with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), as applicable
- Valid Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification
- Completion of the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) course before engagement
- Current resident of the Philippines
- Access to a personal computer and reliable, high-speed internet connection
- Availability and willingness to travel onsite/fieldwork as required
- Prior experience in academic content synthesis, literature reviews, curriculum analysis, or field surveys
- Proficiency in qualitative data analysis software, database tools, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities under minimal supervision
- Physical stamina for field visits, standing, walking, and handling project materials when necessary
