About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Envision, design, and implement new features using the ServiceNow low-code platform based on prioritized product backlogs.
  • Bring innovative, out-of-the-box thinking to challenging problems and brainstorm with peers and internal/external resources.
  • Build service requests, request items, and tasks from requirements using workflows.
  • Manage data flows from customers to support teams providing services.
  • Conduct unit testing, including edge cases, and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Attend and actively participate in Agile meetings, including user story grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Deliver client presentations during sprint demos and coordinate meetings with intersecting teams.
  • Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, socialize best practices, and draft white papers as applicable.
  • Build proofs of concept and create technical solutions for internal applications as needed.
  • Implement ServiceNow in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM).
  • Learn from peers and seniors and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field.
  • At least 4-7+ years of professional experience with the ServiceNow ecosystem performing project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the ServiceNow platform while delivering in an Agile framework.
  • Solid understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
  • Experience with ServiceNow components in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM).
  • Experience with creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow Certified CSM Implementation Specialist.
  • Fairly good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels with technical as well as business resources.
  • Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
  • Experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action; experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in a remote environment.
  • Experience working with software development team members.
  • Other open sources technology experience preferred.
