About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Envision, design, and implement new ServiceNow low-code platform features based on prioritized product backlogs
- Collaborate with developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize customer applications
- Bring innovative solutions to challenging problems through brainstorming and use of internal and external resources
- Build service requests, request items, and tasks using workflows
- Manage data flows from customers to support teams delivering services
- Lead or contribute to ServiceNow deployments, development, configuration, and administration
- Unit test developed features, including edge cases, and conduct peer code reviews
- Participate in User Story grooming, Sprint Planning, retrospectives, and other Agile meetings
- Deliver client presentations during Sprint demos and coordinate with intersecting teams
- Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators
- Share best practices through internal knowledge-sharing sessions and draft white papers
- Build proofs of concept and create technical solutions for internal applications as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field
- 8+ years of professional experience with the ServiceNow eco-system performing project implementations in an Agile framework
- 6+ years specializing in multiple ServiceNow offerings such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, and SPM
- Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, and platform scripting
- Extensive experience creating and managing integrations including SOAP, REST, SSO, SAML, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, MID Servers, Ebonding, API development, data migration, and Flow Designer automation
- Knowledge of MID Server, LDAP, SSO, OAuth, and Web Services integration
- Experience with CI/CD integrations, DevSecOps, security-in-the-pipeline, and code review
- Understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading implementation teams according to solution design and architecture
- Experience configuring ServiceNow Flows, Spokes, Service Catalog, App Engine, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, and Event Management
- Experience creating reports and dashboards in ServiceNow Performance Analytics
- Obtain ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- Obtain a cybersecurity-focused certification such as Security+
- Obtain ServiceNow Developer certification for IT, Security, HR, CS, or Platform Application Development
- Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- Good understanding of SQL, databases, data concepts, and business workflows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and business resources
- US Citizen and ability to attain public trust clearance
- Active Top Secret SCI clearance required
- Service Portal development with AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap is a plus
- Highly desired: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Highly desired: experience with U.S. Federal Government and its agencies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and Agile methodologies/project management
