About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Envision, design, and implement new features using the ServiceNow low-code platform based on the prioritized product backlog.
- Solve challenging problems through innovative thinking, peer brainstorming, and use of internal and external resources.
- Build service requests from requirements, including requests, request items, and tasks using workflows.
- Manage data flows from customers to support teams providing services.
- Lead or contribute to ServiceNow deployments.
- Unit test developed features, including edge cases, and conduct peer reviews of developer code.
- Participate in Agile meetings, including User Story grooming, Sprint Planning, and retrospectives.
- Deliver client presentations during Sprint demos and coordinate meetings with intersecting teams.
- Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators.
- Participate in company knowledge-sharing sessions, socialize best practices, and draft white papers as applicable.
- Build proofs of concept and create technical solutions for internal applications as needed.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize customer applications using low-code solutions and enhance the ServiceNow platform.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field.
- 8+ years of professional experience with the ServiceNow eco-system performing project implementations that exploit the ServiceNow platform's full capabilities while delivering in an Agile framework.
- Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and platform scripting.
- 8+ years specializing in multiple offerings like SPM (ITBM), CSM, HRSD, ITOM, Service Portal, ITSM, Service Provider (Domain Separation).
- Extensive experience creating and managing complex integrations such as SOAP, REST, SSO, SAML, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, MID Servers, Ebonding, and Data Migration.
- Extensive experience with security models, access controls, upgrade strategies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience extending and customizing IRM/GRC objects, such as risks, controls, POAMs, and findings.
- Solid understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in implementation according to design/architecture.
- Experience configuring ServiceNow components including Flows, Spokes, Service Catalog, App Engine, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, and Event Management.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow System Administrator, and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Good understanding of data concepts, SQL, databases, and business workflows.
- Strong verbal and writing skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business resources.
- Active Top Secret SCI clearance required.
- Willingness to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
- Experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action; experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
- Experience working with software development team members.
- Experience working with the U.S. Federal Government and its agencies preferred.
