About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and OmniScripts
Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and integration tools
Design, execute, and validate data migrations, transformations, and loads from legacy systems into Salesforce
Design and implement complex sharing models using declarative and programmatic methods
Design and implement test plans covering code coverage, application behavior, scalability, environment independence, and security
Support QA in validating solutions
Own deployments across environments through CI/CD tools
Follow and promote Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
Help team members grow their Salesforce skills
Provide ROM estimations for client requirements and run technical investigations
Write technical documentation, solution designs, technical stories and epics, process diagrams, and UAT plans
Communicate and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on status, technical challenges, and solution proposals
Collaborate with marketing on thought-leadership content, webinars, and industry events
Work with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Consultants, QA Engineers, and integration specialists
Demo solutions directly to client stakeholders with full technical ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
Expert Apex, including design patterns, trigger frameworks, bulk and asynchronous processing, integration patterns, and custom REST/SOAP endpoints
Advanced SOQL/SOSL
Advanced Lightning Web Components skills, including rendering performance, state management, and minimizing wire adapter calls
Hands-on source-driven development with Git branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and Salesforce CLI (SFDX) deployments across multiple environments
Strong command of sharing rules, role hierarchy, permission sets, permission set groups, and CRUD/FLS enforcement in Apex and LWC
Advanced Salesforce Flows and judgment on when to use configuration instead of code
Ability to deliver complex user stories and multi-system data flows independently
Ability to conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers
Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI)
At least three additional active Salesforce certifications
Excellent oral and written English and Spanish
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum or Kanban
Openness to learning new technologies and tools
Nice to have: Copado CI/CD, ideally with Bitbucket
Nice to have: Experience Cloud and at least one of Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud
Nice to have: OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and Business Rules Engine
Nice to have: MuleSoft API-led connectivity, RAML specifications, and DataWeave transformations
Nice to have: Salesforce Platform Events and Change Data Capture
Nice to have: Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
Nice to have: Additional Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer II, Data Cloud Consultant, MuleSoft Certified Developer, OmniStudio Developer, Experience Cloud Consultant, B2C Commerce Developer, Application Architect, or System Architect
Nice to have: Healthcare industry experience
