About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report directly to a Senior Manager, New Business
- Conduct brand, product, competitor, industry, market, and cultural research
- Support pitch development, project briefs, new business efforts, and sales strategy
- Take notes during internal meetings, department meetings, and RFP briefing calls
- Distribute meeting summaries with key takeaways and action items
- Support administrative and organizational tasks to improve workflow efficiency
- Perform quality assurance on decks, including typos, formatting consistency, and alignment
- Complete a New Business project focused on research, insights, and sales strategy support
- Participate in on-site project support as opportunities arise
- Research new business leads and prospects
- Create custom materials for capabilities meetings
- Prepare and organize incoming RFP documents for internal circulation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a college/university
- Must have a personal laptop/computer
- Must be able to work remotely at least 3 full days a week, up to 30 hours total
- Availability for Tuesdays 10–11am PST is required
- Mon–Thurs availability preferred
- Ideally within a 1-hour drive of Los Angeles to participate in in-office gatherings
- Strong research skills
- Proficiency in AI software, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Keynote or PowerPoint
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Interest in marketing, brand experiences, or creative industries
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Employment eligibility verification is required
- Ideal majors include Business, Marketing, Communications, and Advertising; candidates from other majors are welcome with demonstrated relevant skills
