About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the growth, profitability, and long-term success of a global portfolio of electrical protection solutions
  • Lead the full product lifecycle and business performance across multiple regions, channels, and end markets
  • Develop and lead portfolio strategies to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and deliver differentiated customer value
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across sales, marketing, customer service, engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance
  • Lead and administer the global portfolio to deliver sales, profitability, and cash flow objectives
  • Develop annual operating plans, strategic growth plans, and multi-year portfolio roadmaps
  • Lead pricing strategy and margin improvement initiatives
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and business reviews
  • Align customer requirements, market opportunities, and operational capabilities
  • Lead voice-of-customer initiatives, competitive assessments, SWOT analyses, and market evaluations
  • Identify expansion opportunities in new markets, channels, applications, and verticals
  • Develop business cases for investment and innovation initiatives
  • Lead product lifecycle management from concept through end-of-life
  • Lead new product introduction and commercialization efforts
  • Lead product positioning, segmentation, and value proposition
  • Drive product rationalization, product data integrity, and portfolio governance
  • Develop and implement digital sales tools
  • Influence adoption of digital customer engagement capabilities
  • Leverage AI and data analytics to improve portfolio performance and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or similar field preferred
  • 7+ years of product management experience preferred
  • Experience leading product portfolios and driving business performance preferred
  • Experience developing business cases and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Management of product lifecycle management and commercialization processes
  • Financial insights with P&L management capability
  • Portfolio management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with pricing, financial modeling, and profitability analysis
