About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for embedded software
  • Implement and champion DevOps and Software Integration best practices across the team and broader organization
  • Monitor builds in CI systems and anticipate, debug, and resolve build and test breaks
  • Design and develop automation tools for build, test, and release workflows
  • Manage and improve containerized build environments using Docker
  • Implement new build configurations based on evolving project requirements
  • Collaborate with development teams to provide efficient builds, tools, and infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A solid technical foundation such as a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build, or Release Engineering role
  • Experience in embedded software development project(s) is a must
  • Solid experience with build systems such as Bazel, CMake, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Bash
  • Strong experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, Gerrit, GitLab, Artifactory, and Docker
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker is a must
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line interfaces
  • Good understanding of Software Engineering & Integration best practices for embedded software development
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and a strong desire for automation
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions
  • Hands-on experience in large scale automotive embedded software development related program
  • Experience with ADAS projects and process frameworks like ASPICE, ISO 26262
  • Hands-on experience with Bazel and Gerrit
  • Knowledge of systems programming languages like C++
  • Experience with web technologies such as REST APIs and gRPC
