About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead design and development of NVIDIA’s Assembler and Disassembler for GPU compute
- Develop binary analysis and instrumentation features, including call graph generation, program register usage, and GPU binary patching
- Work with GPU architecture and debugger/profiler development teams to understand requirements and deliver features and product improvements
- Collaborate with teams developing related components to ensure compatibility, reliability, and high-quality code generation
- Work with customers and partners to collect feedback and drive innovative product ideas and features
- Develop tools enabling high-performance applications and libraries for HPC, deep learning, and autonomous driving
- Contribute to assembler and code analysis tools for current and next-generation NVIDIA GPUs
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in low-level system SW development
- Minimum of 6 years of development in compilers, assemblers, binary utilities, or binary analysis tools
- Good analytical and C/C++ programming skills
- Experience in compiler development, including feature support, code generation, or compiler infrastructure
- Good understanding of Assembly Language, Processor ISA, and processor architecture; GPU ISA is a plus
- Knowledge of object file formats such as ELF and debugging formats such as DWARF
- Understanding of debugger, profiler tools, bintools, or linker internals is a plus
- Experience in binary analysis or instrumentation tools such as BOLT is a plus
- Usage of AI tools such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude is a plus
- Knowledge of GPU development and compute APIs such as CUDA and OpenCL is a plus
