About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the on-site quality representative at the contract manufacturer, overseeing end-to-end quality processes for interconnect optical transceivers and CPO sub-assemblies
- Monitor and enforce manufacturing quality standards, including ESD controls, line setup, line audits, and process adherence
- Identify and escalate quality risks proactively
- Support New Product Introduction activities through product bring-up, troubleshooting, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams across global locations
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions through 5D/8D reports for quality incidents
- Support continuous improvement efforts at the contract manufacturer site
- Collaborate with NVIDIA engineering, NPI, supplier quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure product reliability and successful production ramp
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in quality, process, or NPI engineering roles, preferably in high-tech manufacturing or optoelectronic components
- Bachelor’s degree (and above) in Mechanical, Materials, Process, or Quality Engineering or related technical field
- Strong knowledge of SPC, 5D/8D, FMEA, and root cause analysis
- Experience working closely with contract manufacturers, including on-site support and line audits
- Understanding of manufacturing process controls, material handling, ESD standards, and product assembly flows
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in an intense, fast-paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities
