About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct novel and creative research on improving cybersecurity and AI
- Use models and agents to improve cybersecurity and secure models and agents
- Contribute research on new problems in AI and security
- Develop tools and processes to expose or remediate novel weaknesses in conventional and AI systems
- Present results through peer-reviewed publications or other communications with security, machine learning, and business communities
- Share research results with teams across NVIDIA
- Solve relevant AI security problems across a wide range of contexts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in machine learning, cybersecurity, or closely related fields
- Shown programming expertise
- Outstanding knowledge of AI and conventional software weaknesses and mitigation strategies
- In-depth understanding of Generative AI workflows
- Self-starter with a passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and sharing findings
- Motivated and curious about new technologies
- Ability to present sophisticated technical information clearly
- Tight-knit collaboration skills with a history of successful cross-functional projects
- Discovered CVEs or built successful tooling
- Knowledge of adversarial machine learning and techniques to defend against adversarial techniques
- Experience with secure software development practices
- Ability to build human-friendly resources
