About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with SW Product Managers, Architects, R&D, QA, and TPMs to understand workflows, information needs, difficulties, and automation opportunities
Analyze existing ways of working and translate organizational needs into processes, flows, functional requirements, data models, and technical designs
Design, develop, and deploy tools and automation supporting the end-to-end software lifecycle
Apply AI technologies hands-on to solve engineering and operational challenges
Develop AI-enabled applications and workflows for information synthesis, engineering-data interaction, risk identification, repetitive-task automation, and decision support
Use AI coding agents and modern AI development environments for prototyping, implementation, testing, debugging, and iteration
Explore emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to organizational needs
Develop and customize Jira and other engineering-system solutions, including workflows, automation, integrations, and reporting
Build web-based tools and interactive applications integrating engineering tools, databases, and APIs
Develop dashboards and analytics for features, bugs, releases, milestones, dependencies, risks, execution status, and engineering indicators
Automate recurring workflows and reporting while improving data quality, consistency, traceability, and visibility
Own solutions end-to-end from problem discovery and requirements definition through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, adoption, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of software development, internal tools, or automation experience, preferably within a complex software development environment
Strong hands-on software development capability, with ability to independently build and deliver applications, tools, integrations, and automation
Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle
Proven experience evaluating and applying modern AI models, frameworks, APIs, and AI coding agents in day-to-day development
Experience taking AI solutions from concept and prototyping through evaluation and production
Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, databases, and web technologies
Experience integrating multiple systems and data sources through APIs, databases, and automation frameworks
Strong systems and process thinking
Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous environment and drive solutions to completion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with AI-native internal tools, automation platforms, agentic workflows, enterprise systems, APIs, agent frameworks, knowledge-based architectures, Claude Code, or Codex is advantageous
Experience developing web applications, interactive data-driven user interfaces, Jira workflows, APIs, plugins, automation, dashboards, integrations, analytics, and automated reporting is advantageous
