About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategy and execution of programs supporting the bringup, operations and modernization of infrastructure for NVIDIA's Hardware EDA ecosystem
  • Partner internally within Hardware Infrastructure and externally with senior management and other business-unit partners to scale the EDA Infrastructure charter
  • Develop and standardize planning, reporting and execution methodologies and metrics
  • Shape technical strategy, build programs and coordinate execution to scale bringups seamlessly, quickly and efficiently
  • Drive continuous improvement across tooling, automation and cluster operations and management
  • Guide engineering efforts through planning, prioritization, design, dependency management, implementation and execution using agile program methodology
  • Apply metrics, OKRs and KPIs to measure program success and identify improvements
  • Create communication channels for program status, risks and opportunities
  • Serve as a technical and non-technical liaison among developers, customers and partners to drive alignment across a multifunctional matrixed organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of proven experience across software or hardware engineering and/or technical program management roles with demonstrated expertise and mastery of technical and management practices
  • Prior experience in infrastructure software, production application software development and large scale distributed computing
  • Experience handling large scale EDA infrastructure with various CPU/GPU architectures
  • Extensive understanding of semiconductor design and manufacturing processes and associated EDA tools and flows
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on thoroughness and rapid context switching
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and best-in-class project management tools
  • Proactive and enthusiastic in identifying and implementing positive changes in software engineering and release management within a fast-paced environment
  • Deep experience with infrastructure cluster buildouts and NPI hardware evaluation
  • Engaged experience in modernizing EDA Infrastructure solutions and capabilities to provide a Platform as a Product offering
  • Prior experience migrating platforms and solutions from on prem to cloud
  • Software development, release and support methodology and DevOps
