About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the team of GRC or Incident Readiness consultants
  • Contribute actively to client projects and pre-sales activities for strategic clients
  • Perform technical account management for top-tier strategic clients
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, risks, and security requirements
  • Assess clients’ security or resilience maturity using ISO, BSI, or NIST standards
  • Develop and implement fit-for-purpose security programs or support resilience programs, including BCM and DRP
  • Drive client security programs and act as a security champion
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Oversee implementation of security policies, procedures, controls, BCM systems, and disaster recovery programs
  • Provide management updates on the state of security
  • Hold steering committees with relevant customer stakeholders
  • Create and present Statements of Work, project plans, and requirements definitions for team projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Implementer/Auditor or equivalent are strongly preferred
  • Proven experience as a CISO and/or successfully implementing ISO27k or BSI Grundschutz at clients, including risk assessment, security roadmap creation, CISOaaS and policy development
  • Or proven experience as a resilience officer having successfully implemented a BCM or DRP program
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, DORA, NIST, NIS-2, GDPR, and related frameworks
  • Familiarity with risk management and assessment methodologies applied to cybersecurity
  • Ability to quickly grasp business reasons for security and adapt communication style and security programs to fit the client
  • Excellent written and verbal English and German communication skills
  • Leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
