About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance software applications and system solutions
- Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, deployment processes, and system reliability
- Build, deploy, and support applications in Unix/Linux (Red Hat) and AWS cloud environments
- Participate in solution architecture, technical reviews, and technology evaluations
- Integrate applications with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and third-party platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and deployment issues through root-cause analysis
- Ensure solutions meet standards for security, performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability
- Work with QA Engineer on test strategies, code reviews, and quality assurance activities
- Engage with users and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and improve delivered solutions
- Maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, deployment procedures, and support guides
- Participate in Agile activities such as PI Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, and releases
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver solutions supporting critical business operations and strategic initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and software engineering best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 10+ years of Software Development experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with Perl, PHP, Python, C, and C++
- Strong understanding and practical application of Software Design Patterns and object-oriented design principles
- Strong software development and programming expertise, including designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise applications and automation solutions
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux (Red Hat) environments, including application deployment and operational support
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, cloud-native development, deployment, and infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux command-line tools, shell scripting, and automation practices
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Good understanding of MySQL database design, development, optimization, and administration
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning fundamentals, and AI Agent frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with semiconductor design and verification tools, including Calibre and PVS
- Understanding of semiconductor design, manufacturing, and production processes
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including bridging, synchronization, queuing, and communication protocols
- Experience with Apache Web Server, application hosting, and server operating system administration
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and production support environments
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Ability to influence non-technical audiences with data insights
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to new technologies
- Self-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
