About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings to generate shop drawings for various project types and sizes
  • Complete shop drawings in a timely manner and according to company standards
  • Manage project information, notes, and documentation using proprietary software
  • Ensure project questions are answered when needed
  • Interpret Architectural and MEP drawings alongside internal cost estimates
  • Model and draft shop drawings for submittal, BOM production, and installation
  • Draft primarily Division 10 specialties, with possible scope in Divisions 09, 11, 12, 22, and related areas
  • Independently solve problems in coordination with project team members
  • Interface with co-workers and diverse stakeholders to deliver client results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Revit as a modeling and data management tool
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, construction management, and/or 3+ years of drafting experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven remote environment with independent time management
