About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support EHS programs, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across North America, including safety, environmental, and contractor safety programs
- Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and critical risk management activities
- Maintain EHS metrics, reporting, training, and compliance documentation
- Analyze EHS performance data and assist with audits, inspections, and corrective actions
- Partner with operations leaders to strengthen safety culture and environmental stewardship
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and follow through on action plans
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field
- 1-5 years of environmental, health, and safety compliance experience
- Knowledge of life safety codes and EHS regulations
- Understanding of U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, CSA, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical data interpretation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Approximately 25% travel required
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
