About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer incoming calls and provide a world-class customer experience
- Receive inbound calls only; no outbound cold calls
- Explain 1-800-GOT-JUNK? services and help customers make their junk disappear
- Answer questions about service areas, availability, removal timing, and pricing
- Convert customer inquiries into bookings for truck team members
- Complete 3 weeks of fully paid remote training
- Join a team supported by a Team Lead after training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Legally authorized to work in Canada and currently residing in Alberta
- Available for training during the first 3 weeks, Monday-Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM ABT (UTC-6)
- Very friendly telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable learning new technology
- Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
- Quiet space at home
- Quick and reliable wired internet connection
- Personal computer with at least 8GB memory
- Wired Ethernet connection required
- Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, call center, or other relevant experience is a plus
