About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare responses to investor inquiries regarding portfolio investments, performance, and positioning
  • Participate in regular client portfolio updates
  • Partner with Client Relationship Managers and Investment Specialists to support investor engagement
  • Support LPAC processes and investor governance activities
  • Partner with the Global Client Group to support fundraising and client engagement efforts
  • Provide product and portfolio expertise during LP diligence
  • Support co-investment processes, including investor communication and coordination
  • Contribute to customized client solutions such as separate accounts
  • Track deliverables and timelines to ensure timely client responses and completion of materials
  • Coordinate information across investment, reporting, and client group teams for investor materials
  • Own the quality of final deliverables and proactively solve problems
  • Develop understanding of portfolio holdings, strategy positioning, and market dynamics
  • Synthesize investment insights into clear, client-ready materials
  • Contribute written portfolio commentary and develop participation in client discussions
  • Exercise sound judgment on sensitive client-facing matters and coach junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a client-facing role in institutional asset management
  • Exposure to and a strong interest in real estate credit investing, leveraged finance, or private markets
  • Experience interacting with clients, investment teams and investors
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment regarding investor requests
  • Strong project management and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with the ability to create client-facing and internal deliverables
  • Bachelor’s degree; major in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • MBA, CFA or other recognized advanced credentials is a plus
