About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Sage Intacct implementations under the guidance of senior consultants, including configuration, data migration, and testing
Participate in discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with clients
Assist with functional specifications, training materials, and process guides
Help troubleshoot client issues and provide post-go-live support
Learn Sage Intacct modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Reporting
Progress toward independent module ownership
Shadow senior consultants on client calls and gradually take on direct client-facing work
Use AI tools to draft documentation, summarize discovery calls, and accelerate implementation deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional accounting experience
1–2 years of business experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes preferred
Interest in technology and business software applications
Comfortable learning new systems and troubleshooting technical issues
Experience participating in projects through school, internships, or professional work
Exposure to Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft SQL, reporting tools, or other business software
Curiosity about AI and its application to accounting/ERP workflows
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Technical aptitude and comfort learning new applications and databases
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
Adaptability and flexibility when priorities change
