About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft, edit, and submit error-free briefing materials for external donor meetings
  • Lead scheduling, trackers, memos, and event support for Presidential and ELT trips to the West Coast region
  • Enter regional team data into Salesforce and construct and format basic reports
  • Draft donor meeting requests, thank-you notes, and other correspondence on behalf of ELT surrogates
  • Assist with maintaining, improving, or designing internal department processes
  • Serve as liaison between the West fundraising team and Central Development
  • Manage and schedule team meetings, draft agendas, and disseminate materials
  • Support retreats and annual meeting execution
  • Track next steps for selected projects and meetings and ensure completion
  • Support regional events and Obama Presidential Center donor tours
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional project manager – effectively plans and executes short- and long-term projects
  • Communicates proactively and collaborates effectively with others to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Previous Salesforce or other fundraising database experience is a plus
  • Previous development or general nonprofit operations experience is a plus
