About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run lightweight discovery across clients' core business processes and platforms, including finance, HR, customer, productivity, and underlying data
Shape company-wide AI rollout plans with client executives and prioritize initiatives
Build proofs of concept for custom AI-powered applications
Lead follow-on builds by setting architecture, enforcing testing and security standards, implementing infrastructure as code, and shipping to production in clients' clouds
Unblock teams, improve team processes, and coach OCI engineers on engagements
Serve as technical point of contact for client sponsors and bring learnings back to OCI
Staffed on one or two client engagements at a time
Scope new work, mentor others, and build reusable accelerators for engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need

GenAI coding tools are your main way of building, and you've shipped working business apps that way
Ability to read and judge Python or TypeScript
Deep expertise in at least one of application development, data engineering, or cloud
Strong architecture skills across application development, data engineering, and cloud
Technical lead experience on at least two systems that went live and stayed live
Experience building with large language models beyond a demo, including retrieval, evaluation, agents, or tool use
Ability to run discovery across core business applications and turn it into an executive-funded plan
Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with executives
Experience leading engineers without formal authority
Experience with Claude, Azure OpenAI, Claude Code, MCP, Python, TypeScript, Azure, AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake
