About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop and deliver full-stack applications and services supporting AI capabilities across Objective's product suites
Build backend services using Python and frontend experiences using Svelte and modern JavaScript frameworks
Integrate AI frameworks, large language models and intelligent features into production applications
Design and develop secure, reliable and scalable solutions using AWS and Azure
Own engineering problems from solution design and development through testing, deployment and ongoing improvement
Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
Contribute to code reviews and promote modern software engineering practices
Collaborate with engineers, product teams and technical leaders
Explore new technologies and solve complex engineering challenges
Contribute to technical discussions and influence engineering decisions
Support the development of other engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong commercial software development experience, focused on Python or Java full-stack development
Experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React or similar
Solid understanding of database design, development and programming
Experience developing, deploying and maintaining applications in AWS and/or Azure
Strong understanding of API development, microservices and modern software architecture
Experience with unit testing and automated testing
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation
Experience integrating LLMs into applications, including tools such as LiteLLM
Exposure to AI infrastructure, model integration and reusable AI services
Interest in applying emerging AI technologies to real-world business challenges
Strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity
Ability to work collaboratively across teams
