About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own company collateral across Sales, Product, Policy/Government Relations, and Leadership
  • Conceptualize, write, and deliver physical and digital collateral, including pitch decks, product sheets, one-pagers, field marketing assets, policy briefs, and buyer enablement tools
  • Write, test, and optimize copy for the website and campaign landing pages
  • Improve messaging and conversion rates in alignment with go-to-market goals
  • Own and scale social channels, including the publishing calendar and engagement campaigns
  • Execute long-form editorial content such as whitepapers, research reports, customer case studies, and policy position papers
  • Interview technical leads, city officials, police leadership, and urban planners to develop compelling stories
  • Establish multi-channel content distribution strategies
  • Optimize web properties for SEO
  • Track web traffic, pipeline generation, and brand-awareness metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–6+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or copywriting, ideally within B2B SaaS, AI, smart cities, hardware, or civic/public sector technology
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills
  • Ability to simplify complex technical, regulatory, or policy concepts into crisp, authoritative prose
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and executives to design and produce end-to-end collateral suites
  • Strong portfolio showcasing long-form content, web and landing-page copy, social media campaigns, and sales collateral
  • Proven experience managing B2B social media channels and driving digital growth
  • High agency and ownership mindset; self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Background in journalism, public policy, technical writing, or creative copy-editing is a bonus
  • Familiarity with public safety, smart city technology, transportation policy, or municipal procurement is a bonus
  • Experience with multimedia content such as podcast scriptwriting, video storyboarding, or data visualization is a bonus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
