About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead delivery of Human Factors Integration activities to support multi-disciplinary projects, working in collaboration with other technical disciplines
- Lead production of Human Factors analyses and studies, liaising with Subject Matter Experts and safety professionals
- Lead delivery of Human Factors projects whilst mentoring junior members of the team
- Contribute to business development through client engagement, opportunity identification, and bid and proposal development
- Liaise with Regulators as necessary
- Plan and manage work to meet technical, budget and programme requirements and ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with clients and partner organisations
- Help define and grow the company’s Human Factors capability
- Strengthen relationships across multiple sectors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant academic qualification in an appropriate field, i.e. Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology or a suitable Science or Engineering degree
- Demonstrable experience in a Human Factors leadership role
- Experience in applying Human Factors principles, standards and methods, and their role and application within high-hazard and safety critical national infrastructure programmes
- Experience in delivering human error and reliability assessment
- Strong customer focus with an ability to develop creative commercial strategies for the successful contracting of new work
- Ability to build trusted relationships and provide credible technical leadership to clients and project teams
- Ability and willingness to lead and develop others
- Chartered, Registered or working towards accreditation with a relevant body
- Consultancy experience
- SC and / or DV security clearance
- Must be a UK national in order to apply
- Must undergo pre-employment screening and satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting
