About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build the marketing function from the ground up for a fast-growing AI security startup
  • Assess the current marketing position, identify gaps, determine what needs to be built, craft strategy, and execute it hands-on
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, repeatable marketing strategy aligned with growth and revenue objectives
  • Identify missing programs, processes, channels, and infrastructure and prioritize high-value opportunities
  • Establish a scalable marketing foundation and repeatable marketing operating cadence aligned with sales pipeline targets
  • Own positioning and messaging for complex AI and cybersecurity products for the U.S. market
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear enterprise value propositions and maintain messaging consistency across customer touchpoints
  • Develop inbound, content marketing, organic acquisition, email, lifecycle, lead-nurturing, newsletter, and targeted outbound programs
  • Create, write, and guide content initiatives to establish thought leadership and organic visibility
  • Evaluate the website and implement conversion rate optimization improvements
  • Establish marketing KPIs, measurement frameworks, performance dashboards, systems, and processes
  • Analyze funnel performance and make recommendations on what to scale, test, or discontinue
  • Partner with Sales, founders, technical product teams, and cross-functional leadership to align marketing with commercial and pipeline goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mid-to-senior marketing experience with proven ownership in building marketing functions or major programs from scratch within early-stage, fast-paced startup environments
  • Demonstrated experience marketing complex B2B technology products such as AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, or frontier technology to the U.S. enterprise market
  • Hands-on mastery across content creation, organic acquisition, email/outbound marketing, lead generation, website positioning, and conversion rate optimization
  • Strong analytical judgment with proven ability to build KPI frameworks, evaluate funnel performance, and make data-driven decisions
  • Player-coach mentality with high autonomy and comfort navigating ambiguity, solving unstructured problems, and executing without delegated teams
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially simplifying technical topics for business buyers
  • Ability to work a split shift with some overlap with the client's time zone
  • Expected to attend in-person training programs during the first 3.5 weeks
